(Just commenting on this bit of it, for lack of time.)

It is difficult to assess the motivations of someone simply by their decision to drive a car into a crowd of people when the relevant politics are not regularly associated with vehicle attacks.

That is true. But it doesn't really matter. When you drive your car into a group of people, you intend to do harm and you know it.* Whether it's pro- or anti Antifa, white nationalism, left or right, black or white or any color under the sun or anyone else, in a civilized society you do not behave that way. It's morally abhorrent regardless of who does it or why.

What gets me here is the double standard. Black Lives Matter has been calling for violence, rioting, destroying cities, and directly calling for the death of police officers. They got their wish, with I believe it was 5 police officers murdered? Even one would have been too many.

(And then in cases like this, it's always, "Where were the police! They didn't do enough!)

BLM were not only excused, they were given space to riot by people in authority, and even given credence by the now former President of the United States.

It doesn't matter which side does it or, to a lesser extent, even why. It's evil, all the way around.

Thanks for the full roundup. I will catch up when I have more time as well as mental energy. This stuff is so awful and disgusting and depressing. I can only handle so much of it on any given day.

* Leaving aside, of course, tragic accidents caused by mechanical failure or an impaired driver due to age, lack of experience/skill, or a medical emergency.
